At The Chocolate Chalet, every treat is handcrafted with care, precision, and high-quality ingredients. Because our products are perishable and extremely delicate—especially our thin-shelled hot cocoa bombs—we have a firm but fair refund policy to ensure clarity and consistency for all customers.

All Sales Are Final

Due to the perishable nature of our chocolate products, all sales are final once an order is placed.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on any items.

This policy helps maintain product safety, freshness, and quality for every customer.

Pickup Responsibility

All orders must be picked up during the confirmed pickup time window.
Once items are transferred to the customer, The Chocolate Chalet is not responsible for:

  • Melting

  • Breakage

  • Cracking

  • Humidity or temperature exposure

  • Improper handling or transportation after pickup

Please handle your treats with care and transport them in a cool, temperature-stable environment.

Quality Concerns

Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup with the following:

  • A brief description of the concern

  • Photos of the product in its original condition at pickup

We will review the situation and may offer one of the following, depending on the nature of the concern:

  • A partial refund

  • A full refund

  • A replacement item for a future pickup

Refunds are only provided in cases of confirmed production errors or mistakes made by The Chocolate Chalet.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be given for:

  • Damage occurring after pickup

  • Changes of mind or preference

  • Not liking a flavor after consumption

  • Incorrect pickup times selected by the customer

  • Failure to pick up an order

  • Products damaged due to weather, temperature, or transportation conditions

Holiday & Pre-Order Items

Holiday and seasonal pre-orders require early preparation and cannot be canceled once placed.
Failure to pick up pre-ordered items will result in forfeiture without refund.
